– Who are we? –

We…

A big family… 8 children from 25 to 2 years old. Recomposed for 13 years, we built this project together, and chose to live in this small valley, far from the stress of the city and the press environment in which we were all engulfed. Today our project is based on hospitality in our eco-houses and on guided hikes, summer and winter, with or without our sweet donkeys. At the same time we have created an educational bee farm, which aims to introduce you to the life of bees in the mountains, their environment, and the importance they play in the eco-system. We welcome groups and schoolchildren on request. One by one, here is a mini-portrait of us…

54 years old. It’s Papa Bear… strong and firm, with its large bowl of coffee in the morning, its chainsaw, its tiller, its hives and its good dose of optimism. He was a press photographer for 25 years, before retiring from this world where everything goes too fast, and where the profession was no longer recognized and paid at its fair value. Today, he sets up his beehive, and builds a beautiful house for his nest, and for the guests who decide to come and rest in Montbrand. He also makes good honey, so that life is even sweeter by his side… And he became an accompanist in the mountains, to share his passion for the mountains.

A journalist for 10 years, she chose to withdraw from this exciting profession, but which leaves no room for family life. She did so after gaining access to the editor-in-chief of local newspapers and regional correspondence for a major national newspaper. Today she manages the development of the project, the communication and the progress of the various stages. She is also an accompanist in the mountains, to guide all those who wish to our beautiful surrounding mountains. melaniedastrevigne@gmail.com
